SILMO Paris 2026 opens in one week.

From September 25 to 28, Albert I'mStein will be in Hall 7, Stand H100 at Paris Nord Villepinte, with our most complete collection to date — 13 new frames alongside our full range of Signature models.

We already introduced the whole collection in our last post. But some frames deserve more than a line of description. Some frames you need to see properly — up close, in your hands, on a face — to understand what makes them genuinely different.

These are five of those frames.

If you are attending SILMO Paris 2026 and want to see them in person, you can book an appointment with us directly at Hall 7 / H100.

1. Butterfly — The Frame That Introduces Itself

Albert I'mStein Butterfly oversized cat-eye sunglasses pink — SILMO Paris 2026

There is a version of bold that shouts. And then there is the Butterfly — which does something more interesting. It arrives.

The Butterfly is our oversized cat-eye sunglasses frame, and it is one of the most exciting pieces in the SILMO 2026 collection. Cat-eye frames are one of the defining eyewear trends of 2026 — their upswept silhouette adds lift, drama and a vintage Hollywood reference that feels completely current right now. The Butterfly takes that silhouette and pushes it somewhere new.

What makes it distinctive is the hardware. Instead of a standard hinge or a decorative stud, the Butterfly carries small gold butterfly-shaped details at the outer corner of each lens and on the temples. It is a detail that most people miss on first glance — and then cannot unsee once they notice it. That moment of discovery is the whole point.

Six colorways. From dark tortoiseshell with mint lenses to purple/red gradient to amber marble with brown lenses. Every one is a different mood; every one is unmistakably Butterfly.

This is the frame that stops the show floor conversation and starts a new one.

2. Madam — Sharp, Directional, Impossible to Ignore

Albert I'mStein Madam pointed cat-eye glasses with butterfly hardware — SILMO Paris 2026

If the Butterfly is drama in sunglasses form, Madam is drama in optical form — sharper, more pointed, built for everyday wear by someone who wants their glasses to say something before they do.

Madam is a pointed cat-eye optical frame in pure acetate, and it is the frame in this collection that most directly addresses what is happening in eyewear right now. Oversized frames, bold cat-eye silhouettes and chunky acetate are among the biggest eyewear trends of 2026 — and Madam brings all three together in a single, cohesive design.

The same gold butterfly hardware from the Butterfly sunglasses appears here too, sitting at the outer corner of each lens. In the context of an optical frame rather than a sunglass, that detail reads differently — less glamorous, more personal. Like a small signature that only reveals itself when you look closely.

Five colorways: glitter black/amber, leopard/red, dark green/blue fade, classic tortoiseshell and a fully transparent crystal version that is one of the most on-trend pieces in the entire collection. Transparent and crystal frames are one of the fastest-growing eyewear directions of 2026 — soft, fresh, completely versatile, and the crystal Madam with its butterfly hardware is a genuinely distinctive take on the trend.

3. Islay_S — The One That Stops People Walking

Albert I'mStein Islay_S bold striped acetate square glasses — SILMO Paris 2026

Every collection has a frame that works differently in a display than it does in a photograph. Islay_S is that frame.

In a photo, it looks bold. In person, standing in a display cabinet, the heavily textured striped acetate catches light in a way that pulls attention from across the room. The vertical pin-stripe effect running across the entire front of the frame creates movement — the frame looks almost alive, shifting slightly as you move around it.

This is exactly what a display frame should do. Bold acetate eyewear continues dominating fashion eyewear collections in 2026 — thick, sculptural silhouettes in textured materials are creating a confident statement and adding personality to everyday styling. Islay_S is the fullest expression of that direction in our collection.

Five colorways: black/white stripes, red stripes, leopard/red, teal/yellow and a blue tortoiseshell/purple fade. All five read differently under different lighting conditions — which makes it the frame that keeps giving across a full day on a show floor.

At 48mm in acetate + titanium, it wears bolder than its size suggests. The kind of frame that opticians put in the window.

4. Nod — The Frame With a Secret

Some frames carry their character on the outside. Nod carries its character on the inside — specifically, engraved into the inner face of both temples in a message you only see when the wearer takes their glasses off.

"SO HAPPY / TO SEE YOU"

Albert I'mStein Nod glasses temple engraving So Happy To See You — SILMO Paris 2026

It is the most Albert I'mStein detail in the entire collection. A piece of the brand's FUN & HAPPY philosophy built directly into the frame itself — hidden from the world, private between the glasses and their wearer, revealed only in the intimacy of a moment when someone removes their frames and hands them to a friend to try on.

That moment — "wait, what does it say?" — is worth more than any marketing line.

Beyond the engraving, Nod is a beautifully considered round frame in acetate + titanium with strong two-tone color contrasts between the outer and inner portions of the frame. Five colorways: black/yellow, teal/brown, tortoiseshell/blue, stripe/green and blond tortoiseshell/red. Each colorway uses the contrast between outer and inner to create a frame that looks one way from across a room and reveals something different up close.

Round frames with strong character are firmly part of 2026's eyewear story — and Nod has more character per centimetre than almost anything else we have made.

5. Moss — Small Frame, Big Personality

Albert I'mStein Moss checkerboard round glasses — fun happy eyewear SILMO Paris 2026

The counterpoint to all of the above. Where Butterfly is oversized and Islay_S is visually dominant, Moss is compact — 45mm — and relies entirely on color and personality to do its work.

It does that work very well.

Moss is a round acetate + titanium frame that carries its own hidden message: "Have a FUN day" engraved on the inner temple. Where Nod's message is private and intimate, Moss wears its attitude more openly — a small declaration of intent from a frame that refuses to take itself too seriously.

The five colorways tell the same story. Black/cream is the clean option. Multi-tortoiseshell/teal is the playful one. Matte grey is the understated one. Deep purple is the statement one. And then there is checkerboard black/white — a C2 colorway that is completely unlike anything else in the collection and completely unlike anything else in most collections. It is the kind of colorway that makes an optician smile when they open the delivery and makes their customer stop mid-sentence when they spot it in the display.

Small frames are having a moment in 2026 — compact, precise, personality-driven rounds and squares that prove you do not need size to make an impact. Moss is the proof.

See All Five in Person — Hall 7 / H100

These five frames are best understood in your hands, not on a screen. The texture of the Islay_S acetate, the weight of the Butterfly in pure acetate, the moment you notice the butterfly hardware on Madam for the first time, the hidden message on Nod — none of that translates fully to a photograph.

If you are attending SILMO Paris 2026, we would love to show you the full collection in person. Our team will be at Hall 7, Stand H100 across all four days — September 25 to 28, 9:00 to 18:30.

Book an appointment and we will make sure you have the time and space to see everything properly.
